Yesterday I announced a commercial break while I caught my breath after writing several chapters. So I figured I owed you a few commercials:
1. I just replaced the clock in my office with a "Writer's Clock." Instead of numbers, it designates the hours this way:
I like the fact that it has at least one encouraging hour (Adult Beverage) and one success story. Besides, it never fails to make me smile. if you'd like one for your own office, you can find them at http://lindarohrbough.us/clocks.htm. (And no, she did not pay me to say that! Fell free to tell her I sent you, however.
2. I'm in final countdown phase for my experimental boxed set of Kindle books. The set contains the first 4 books I wrote about "The Civil War in South Carolina's Low Country." Until Saturday, it will only cost you $6.00 to order a copy and see how "boxing" several Kindle manuscripts into one file really works. Find the collection here: http://www.amazon.com/Civil-War-South-Carolinas-Country-ebook/dp/B00OKUZF4M
3. A product endorsement. I caught my cat drinking coffee this morning. It was great coffee, I must admit, brewed from freshly ground Starbucks French Roast beans. The problem? Well, this was my 20-pound, not-declawed, orange street thug, who can be a sweet cat under some circumstances, or he can turn in an instant into a biting, scratching rototiller. I do not need him wired! Perhaps if Starbucks would hire him for their own commercials, it would be worth our skin to let him drink his fill. Otherwise, I'm guarding my coffee mug more closely from now on.
And now we return you to our regularly scheduled writing hour.
